pastoral care emergencies and urgencies.

September is Prayer Month

Prayer is an important faith practice as individuals and as a church; and September is Prayer Month in the Upper Keys.

Please commit to prayerfully cover our community with God's love and grace for the 30 days of September.

Adult Ed and Adult Ed Reboot

After a brief hiatus, Adult Ed and Adult Ed Reboot will resume on October 20.  Adult Ed will begin a discussion of the parables using Amy-Jill Levine's “Short Stories by Jesus (sic)”. We meet at 9:00 am in the Chapel. Adult Ed Reboot will continue with “Saving Jesus: Redux” at 11:30 in the Sanctuary.

Fifth Sunday

It happens about four times a year and it's gonna happen on September 29. What is it? It's a Fifth Sunday and Coral Isles is going to think outside of the box in worship. Fifth Sunday is a family friendly, hands on worship service. It's a great Sunday to invite those families we call our own, live next door to, or bump into as we go about our daily lives.

It Makes Giving Easy

Pick up “Cow Not a Cup” coin holder to support Heifer International. It’s an easy way to provide milk for a lifetime.

Hurricane Season Reminder

Once again it is the time to be sure you have all your hurricane supplies and plans in place.  Also be sure to pick up your re-entry stickers for your cars.  They can be obtained at the Key Largo Government Center and Islamorada Sheriff’s Office.  You must provide a proof of residency, a driver’s license or current utility bill. While there, if you haven’t already gotten one, request your Trauma Star sticker for your driver’s license.

Hurricane Dorian-Bahamas

Coral Isles Church is accepting donations for the Bahamas.  At this time we are collecting cleaning supplies, tarps, work gloves, paper towels, bleach, heavy duty trash bags, toilet paper, diapers, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand soap and hand sanitizer.  We are NOT accepting clothing at this time.  Thank you for helping our island neighbors in the Bahamas that are being devastated from Hurricane Dorian.

Upper Keys Life Enrichment – JOY Center

JOY Center (Just Older Youth, over 50) meets twice a month during summer and once weekly in the Fall. You are invited to participate in any classes. Gentle Yoga, using technology, dancing, ukulele and Mahjong lessons are fun and enjoyable, or come socialize, make new friends. For information contact Bonnie at Office.
